30 Day Knitting Challenge - Day 4 Day 4: How did you learn how to knit? When I got my doggie Pepito, I got the idea that I wanted to learn how to knit so I could make him a sweater. I bought myself the Knitting for Dummies book and learned all the basics and even some advanced techniques from it. Even though I’ve been knitting for about 7 years, I find that I’m still learning. Day 4: How did you learn how to knit?

When I got my doggie Pepito, I got the idea that I wanted to learn how to knit so I could make him a sweater. I bought myself the Knitting for Dummies book and learned all the basics and even some advanced techniques from it.

Even though I’ve been knitting for about 7 years, I find that I’m still learning. I usually use youtube for cast on instructions or techniques that are unusual.
