Day 5: How long did it take from the time your learned how to knit, to finish your first project?

My first project was the hat that I posted a few days ago, and it was pretty easy.  You’ve got to love large needles!  It was so long ago that I can’t really remember exactly how long it took me to finish it, but it’s pretty safe to say that I sat there and fiddled with it until I finished it.
